Fears of Franchises – Too Many Tasks for One Day

As the number of franchises you own grows, so will your task list for the day. As a franchisee, it’s easy to become overwhelmed and extremely involved in your tasks for the day. When you’re working hard, you should never bum yourself for not getting all the work done you wanted in one day. It can be easy to look at your list and see everything you didn’t accomplish, but that not only doesn’t help your efficiency, it’s demotivating personally. In order to ease the stress of not accomplishing your long list of daily musts, be positive about what you did accomplish by asking yourself these questions: .

What did you complete today and what do you feel good about?

Keep a focus on all the tasks you did complete when it comes to your fitness franchises. It might not seem like you did much when you’re looking at what you did not accomplish. When you’re going over the list of things you did, make a special note of what you completed well and what you’re happy about. This can help you appreciate the work you and your team did rather than lament what you never got to.

Who helped accomplish your tasks?

Remember to recognize the staff members that helped you meet your goals for the day when you’re going over the list of to-dos in your fitness franchises. Make it a point to tell them they did a good job or to show appreciation for their help.

Did you learn anything?

Every day as a business owner there are chances to learn. With multiple fitness franchises, there’s no way you could walk away from a list of tasks and not pick up something that day. Whether it’s a better interaction tip for customers, staff, or your franchisor. Did you learn a new efficient method of stocking or providing your service? Ask yourself daily if there are opportunities to learn and did you find them.

picking the right franchiseWhat will go differently tomorrow?

Clearly you weren’t as efficient in your franchises as you would have liked to be. You can take that as a learning experience in and of itself. As you reflect on your day, consider what you will do tomorrow to insure more of your tasks are done.  What can go differently and what is an unrealistic goal?

What are you proud of?

What did you do for your fitness franchises today that you feel proud about? Did you meet or surpass certain goals? Learn something new? Use a certain skill? Remember that acknowledging your success is key to feeling good in the present and achieving future success. If you forget to praise yourself, you may end up hating yourself and your businesses.
